Cookie Policy
Exactly which cookies this site can set, what each one does, and how to change your mind at any time.
On this page
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They let a site remember choices, keep sessions secure and, where permitted, measure how the site is used.
2. Your choice
When you first visit fidescorwanda.com a consent panel appears. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is activated until you choose. You can change your decision at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer, or by clearing site data in your browser.
3. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Delivers the site securely and remembers your cookie choice. Cannot be switched off. | fidescor_consent_v1 (local storage), host security and load-balancing cookies | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Aggregated statistics on page views, entry pages and device types so we can improve content. | Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Up to 24 months |
| Advertising | Measures which advertising campaigns produce genuine inquiries and prevents repeated ads. | Microsoft Advertising UET (_uetsid, _uetvid), Google Ads (_gcl_au) | Up to 13 months |
| Embedded content | The Google Maps frame on our contact and home pages may set cookies from Google when loaded. | Google Maps | Varies by provider |
4. Third-party cookies
Analytics and advertising cookies are set by the providers named above under their own privacy policies. We receive aggregated reporting from them; we do not receive a list of individual visitors. Where those providers support consent signals, our banner passes your choice through.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings — Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari all provide per-site controls. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent the consent panel from remembering your choice, so it will reappear on each visit.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where our providers support them by treating the visit as an opt-out of analytics and advertising storage. There is no consistent industry standard for the older Do Not Track header.
7. Updates to this policy
If we add or remove a tool that uses cookies we will update the table above and change the revision date. We review this page at least annually.
