Our story
Started because the industry kept disappointing the person paying for it
Before Fidescor, Marsha Jankowski spent fifteen years on the client side — coordinating vendors for a portfolio of suburban office and flex buildings. She signed the janitorial contracts, fielded the tenant complaints, and watched the same pattern repeat: a polished sales presentation, a strong first month, then a slow slide into skipped tasks and unreturned calls.
In 2014 she leased a small unit on Victoria Street, bought two vans, hired four people she already trusted, and wrote the operating rules she had always wanted from a vendor: assigned crews, written scopes, weekly inspections, and a phone number that reaches an owner.
Twelve years later we are a team of 41 W-2 employees cleaning roughly 2.4 million square feet a month across Cook, DuPage and Will counties. We have grown slowly and on purpose — we have turned down work when we could not staff it properly, and that is exactly why our clients stay.

People first
Every cleaner is a W-2 employee with paid training, real equipment and a supervisor who answers. Subcontracted labor is how buildings get neglected.
Write it down
If a task is not in the written scope, it is not in the price — and if it is in the scope, it happens. No verbal promises that vanish at renewal.
Protect the building
Keys logged, alarm codes controlled, chemicals labelled and SDS binders on site. Our insurance certificates are current and shareable in minutes.
Measure honestly
Inspection scores go to the client whether they are good or bad, along with what we are doing about the bad ones.
